During the first visit to the salon clinic for hair loss and scalp disorders, we gather your personal information, which includes family history, any illnesses, current medications and prescription drugs, your diet, and products used on the hair. Photographs are taken of you hair loss and or scalp disorders for our files and to track your results. We check for any deficiencies, which is done by having each client complete a clinical analysis forms. The analysis forms are tools used to help determine what may be the root cause for any imbalances or weaknesses related to the hair and scalp. This is our General Analysis Consultation
Phase II
Examine Hair and Scalp Disorder
First our examination and hair analysis will help determine the stage of hair loss. This is done by looking under a microscope at the hair or hair bulb. We look for breakage or diffuse hair loss and whether it is chemical or mechanical (the way the hair is cared for) damage to the hair. Next, we examine your scalp for specific types of scalp disorders. Some signs of scalp disorders include patchy hair loss, redness, and scaling, diffuse hair loss or thinning in spots or over the entire head.
Phase III
Recommending and Make a Diagnosis
After gathering the information and making a diagnosis treatment and follow-up of your hair and scalpcan be done the same day or a follow up tratment day. We will advise you if there's a treatment program in the salon clinic and home program that you should start. Questions we ask: can the problem be treated with just our therapeutic topical treatments? Which treatments will we start first? Which home program to start for the imbalances? The consultation is in three parts. The first part is gathering information; part two is recommending treatments with a home maintenance program and follow ups. We have helped many clients grow back their hair with our treatments, when they apply the home program as recommended. When a client has waited to long to start a program we can help them with our hair extension services.
